Unsupported: ath79 WIP

This is closely related to the migration of ar71xx → ath79. See also ar71xx, ath79 and ar71xx-ath79

1. What does it mean, “ath79 wip”?
   • This means that the device may already work with ath79, but manual adjustments of your configuration need to be done after you have migrated to ath79.
2. What is the reason for this status?
   • Migration has not yet finished. Work in progress.
3. What consequences does this have in regards to your expectations?
   • Expectation: Fully working device after migrating from ar71xx → ath79 without any changes in your configuration (network, wifi, …)
   • Reality: After migrating from ar71xx → ath79, you need to adjust your configuration (network, wifi, …)
4. Will this status change over time? If yes, in what timeframe?

5. What can you do now?
   • Use ar71xx until ath79 support is available for your device
   • Search the forum and see if you can help migrating a device. Testers are most likely welcome.
