OEM easy installation
1. Remove all dots from the factory image filename (except the dot before file extension).
2. Upload and update the firmware via the original web interface.
3. Wait until green status led stops blinking (can take several minutes).
4. Login to OpenWrt initramsfs. It's recommended to make a backup of the mtd partitions at this point.
4. Perform sysupgrade using the following command (or use Luci):
sysupgrade -n sysupgrade.bin
5. Wait until green status led stops blinking (can take several minutes).
6. Mission accomplished.

Upgrading OpenWrt
LuCI Web Upgrade Process
- Browse to
http://192.168.1.1/
LuCI Upgrade URL - Upload image file for sysupgrade to LuCI
- Wait for reboot
Terminal Upgrade Process
sysupgrade
- Login as root via SSH on 192.168.1.1, then enter the following commands:
cd /tmp wget http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/XXX/xxx.abc sysupgrade /tmp/xxx.abc
Debricking
sercomm-recovery utility
1. Compile sercomm-recovery under the Linux:
git clone https://github.com/danitool/sercomm-recovery.git make
2. Connect the router with a cable and run sercomm-recovery:
sudo ./sercomm-recovery enp0s3 recovery_image.bin
where enp0s3 - network interface connected the router, ifconfig - list on available network interfaces
You can use “ALL” mtd partition backup as a recovery image.
3. Wait until the router is flashed and rebooted.
4. Power cycle the router.
