Technicolor TG789vac v2

This is the Technicolor TG789vac v2 shipped by many ISPs in Italy, Australia and the UK. It supports both ADSL2+/VDSL2 broadband connections and FTTH connections with a RJ-45 WAN port. Provides two FXS ports for VoIP-to-POTS telephony gateway features as well as one USB 2.0 port.

As said previously this unit is being shipped by different ISPs, such as:

  • Tiscali (Italy)
  • Fastweb (Italy)
  • UNO (UK)
  • iiNet (Australia)
  • Internode (Australia)

OpenWrt support

Limited to version 15.05.1 (see notes).

Opening the case

Remove the two rubber feets on the bottom, remove the screws underneath those then remove the top casing (it requires a bit of force).
