The Linksys E2500 was a router released by Linksys around April 2011. It features a Broadcom BCM43236 dual-band wireless chip. It has 4, 10/100 ethernet ports, and a single 10/100 WAN port.
Login to the default Linksys E2500 Web Interface (Default factory setting is http://192.168.1.1/).
Next, go to Administration, and then click the Firmware Upgrade option in the sub-menu. Click browse, upload the .bin you downloaded from above, click “Start Upgrade”, and wait for the router to reboot.

Set up your Internet connection, configure wireless, configure USB port, etc.
