MikroTik RBcAPGi-5acD2nD (cAP ac)

Under Construction!
This page is currently under construction. You can edit the article to help completing it.

Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi AP, with two GbE ports (PoE in&out), ceiling/wall mounted, based on powerful quad-core ARM CPU with HW accelerated encryption support.

cAP ac

The RBcAPGi-5acD2nD-XL (cAP AC XL) is basicly a cAP AC but with better antenae, a reflector and a better sensitivity and thus increased coverage.

Install OpenWrt (generic explanation)

FIXME Please add the installation procedure here.

The default network configuration is:

Interface Name Description Default configuration
br-lan LAN & WiFi 192.168.1.1/24
eth0 LAN port None
eth1 WAN port DHCP
wlan0 WiFi 2.4 GHz Disabled
wlan1 WiFi 5 GHz Disabled

hardware.button on howto use and configure the hardware button(s). Here, we merely name the buttons, so we can use them in the above Howto.

The cAP ac has the following buttons:

BUTTON Event
Reset -
Mode -

→ How to configure LEDs in general, see the LED section in the led_configuration.

The cAP ac has 7 LEDs:
