 +WARNING: Wifi has a bug leading to instability and jamming of other Wifi signals. Last tested on version OpenWrt 18.06.02. See but report: https://bugs.openwrt.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=1373
 +
 +OpenWrt can be installed from the standard Linksys web GUI, just upload the sysupgrade image. If you get the error "Incorrect firmware file", then you need to downgrade your current Linksys firmware. Linksys Firmware 1.0.00 (FW_E1700_v1.0.00.081_20131220.bin) is known to work, see: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/solved-incorrect-firmware-file-sha-sum-matching/13539/8

 +===== TFTP Recovery =====
 +
 +| E1700 IP | 192.168.1.1 |
 +| TFTP IP | 192.168.1.100 |
 +| Filename | um_factory_fw.bin |
 +
 +On every boot the bootloader searchs for file "um_factory_fw.bin" on tftp ip "192.168.1.100". Only firmware part is written, so stock firmware and OpenWrt sysupgrade image does work. OpenWrt installation might not work on newer Linksys firmware, so you might need to downgrade first, see previous section.
