Comment installation:: Factory image + sysupgrade -F -n from stock (stock's platform_check_image demands a QSDK FIT with hlos+rootfs, which the factory image provides; -F is required since it carries no bootloader payloads). Manual kernel/rootfs partition write is a fallback only for builds predating the factory image. See device page.
