The DIR-890L “AC3200 Ultra Wi-Fi Router” was introduced by D-Link in early 2015.

It was soon supported using proprietary Broadcom drivers in DD-WRT but was absent from OpenWrt for a long time. Support for the device is part of the OpenWrt repository since june 2023.
